(This is about the Game Boy Advance game. You may be looking for the GameCube version.)

NHL Hitz 2003, also known as NHL Hitz 20-03, is a sports game (focused on ice hockey) for the Game Boy Advance. It is licensed by the National Hockey League and its Player's Association.

Gameplay

Though the other console versions were released in other countries, the Game Boy Advance version was only released in North America.

The game has an exclusive 3-vs-3 feature in-game, and also lets four Game Boy Advances link up to allow four players to play simultaneously. A full season mode is also available.

As in the real-world sport of hockey, the object is to score more goals than the opposing team to win the game.

Teams

All NHL teams from that year appear in the game.

Box art

The box art for the game portrays Chris Pronger of the St. Louis Blues.
