NHL Hitz 2002, also known as NHL Hitz 20-02, is a sports game (focused on ice hockey) for the GameCube. It is licensed by the National Hockey League and its Player's Association.
Gameplay[]
The game has a 3-vs-3 feature in-game. It has NHL rules but they are much more relaxed, encouraging hitting and fighting. It also has cartoony animated effects, such as fire surrounding a player who has a lot of goals.
The game also contains hit music from Limp Bizkit, Korn, Fuel, Staind, and many more.
As in the real-world sport of hockey, the object is to score more goals than the opposing team to win the game.

The box art for the game portrays former player Scott Stevens of the New Jersey Devils.
