NHL Blades of Steel 2000 is a sports game (focused on ice hockey) for the Game Boy Color. It is licensed by the National Hockey League and its Player's Association.

The game was only released in North America. The Nintendo 64 version was cancelled.
The game's modes include Practice, Exhibition, NHL Season, Playoffs, and All-Star Game. The player has the ability to save and load a game.
As in the real-world sport of hockey, the object is to score more goals than the opposing team to win the game.
