NHL 99 is a sports game (focused on ice hockey) for the Nintendo 64. It is licensed by both the National Hockey League and it's Player's Association. It is the first and only game in the NHL series to be released on Nintendo 64.

Plot[]

The game is based on the 1998–1999 international ice hockey season.

Gameplay[]

The game has five gameplay modes, commentary by real-life color-analyst and retired NHLer Bill Clement, and coaching strategies by real-life NHL coach Marc Crawford.

The game also includes the new expansion team for that season, the Nashville Predators.

As in the real-world sport of hockey, the object is to score more goals than the opposing team to win the game.

Teams[]

All the NHL teams from that year appear in the game.

Box Art[]
