NHL 2K10 is a sports game (focused on ice hockey) for the Wii and is part of the NHL 2K series. It is licensed by the National Hockey League and its Player's Association.
Gameplay[]
The gameplay is very similar to that of its predecessor NHL 2K9. The Wii MotionPlus was utilized for better puck control and movements. Mii's could also be used in certain gameplay options. Swinging the Wii Remote indicates a pass or shot while the Nunchuk is used for bodychecking.
Commentators Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda of the San Jose Sharks supply the in-game play-by-play and analysis.
As in the real-world sport of hockey, the object is to score more goals than the opposing team to win the game.
Teams[]
All the 30 NHL teams appear in the game.
Box Art[]
The box art for the game is a shot of current player Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals.
Reception[]

In Japan, Famitsu where the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 were ported on October 15, 2009, gave these versions a score of all four sixes for a total of 24 out of 40.
