NHL 2002 is a sports game (focused on ice hockey) for the Game Boy Advance. It is licensed by the National Hockey League and its Player's Association. Though the PC and other versions were released in other countries, the Game Boy Advance version was only released in North America.

NHL 2002 contains many of the same features from NHL 96.

The game saves player stats, allows a full NHL season, stadium-specific chants and organ music, and a player creation feature. It also has different difficulties from Novice to Expert.

As in the real-world sport of hockey, the object is to score more goals than the opposing team to win the game.

All NHL teams from that year appear in the game.
