The Nintendo Entertainment System Action Set was a console bundle that was sold in many countries in the late 1980's and early 1990's, first launched in North America in 1988, replacing the NES Deluxe Set. It included an NES Control Deck with the Zapper light gun (initially available in grey, later replaced with the orange model in later versions of the bundle), two controllers, and the Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt double game pak.[1] It was most popular out of all the NES console bundles, resulting in the proliferation of Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt game paks compared to the stand-alone versions of both games.
