NBA Courtside 2: Featuring Kobe Bryant is a Nintendo published Nintendo 64 game released late in 1999 exclusively in North America. The game is the second game in the series to be released; one more would launch for the GameCube titled NBA Courtside 2002 that also featured Kobe Bryant on the cover. The game was modernized to include the updates that were made to each individual team such as new team members, jersey changes, and other statistics. More options were also included in the create your own player mode. The game's movements were improved, and new moves were added. As in the previous game, Kobe Bryant in NBA Courtside, pro basketball player Kobe Bryant did the motion capture for all of the moves.
