NBA 2K10 is a basketball video game developed by Visual Concepts and 2K China and published by 2K Sports. It was released for the Wii on October 6, 2009 and is the first game in the series to be released for the console as well as the first NBA 2K game to be released on a Nintendo console since NBA 2K3 in 2002 for the GameCube. As the eleventh installment in the NBA 2K series, it is the successor to NBA 2K9 and the predecessor to NBA 2K11. This is the first NBA 2K game, and overall, the second basketball game to have Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection: the others being NBA Live 09 and NBA 2K11.
