Multi Moons are collectible items in Super Mario Odyssey. They are a special set of Power Moons counting as 3 Power Moons. They are only available as rewards for boss battles and completing major main story goals. They act similarly to the Grand Stars from Super Mario Galaxy. After collecting a Multi Moon, Mario and Cappy will perform a more elaborate animation with Mario heading back to the Odyssey afterwards.
