Mr. Frosty is a recurring mini-boss in the Kirby series, first appearing in Kirby's Adventure. Mr. Frosty is a funny and dapper blue and white walrus who wears black suspendered trousers. The seat of Mr. Frosty's trousers is always missing, exposing his blue butt as he dances and turns around something that Mr. Frosty may or may not be aware of depending on the game. His humorous appearance and mannerisms have resulted in him being one of the more beloved Kirby mini-bosses. He gives Kirby the Freeze or Ice ability depending on the game.
In battle, Mr. Frosty uses his frosty breath to create blocks of ice blocks that he throws at Kirby and will also attempt to grab and eat Kirby if he gets too close.
Mr. Frosty appeared in Kirby Return to Dreamland in the mini-game named Mini Boss Challenge. The blue Mr. Frosty named Mr. Frosty EX appeared in Kirby Return to Dreamland in the mini-game named Mini Boss EX Challenge. The Mr. Frosty using Super Ability is named Super Mr. Frosty. Kirby and the Forgotten Land portrays him with icicles on his face and a torn tunic with a single strap akin to a caveman.
Abilities[]
During battle, Mr. Frosty tosses ice blocks at Kirby that Kirby can inhale and spit back at him. He will also attempt to grab Kirby and put him in his mouth before spitting him out frozen. In some newer games he can even use his frost breath to fly for short periods of time. When inhaled, Mr. Frosty gives Kirby either the Ice or Freeze ability depending on the game. In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Mr. Frosty has his moves adapted for 3-dimensional battlefields and is capable of rolling large snowballs around his arena.
