Mortal Kombat 3 is a fighting game published by Midway Games and Williams Entertainment Inc. and released in 1995 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy. Mortal Kombat 3 is the sequel to Mortal Kombat II and the third main installment in the Mortal Kombat franchise.

  • Mortal Kombat 3 is the first game to not feature Scorpion, Raiden, and Johnny Cage as playable characters and the only entry to omit masked traditional ninja characters from its playable roster.
  • The game was featured on the cover of Nintendo Power V78.
  • The game won the Coolest Code/Trick award in the 1995 Nintendo Power Awards for the "Kooler Stuff" code.
  • Most of it was downloaded in Arcades.
