Mortal Kombat 11 is a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and the eleventh main entry in the Mortal Kombat franchise released for the Nintendo Switch in 2019.
An expanded version was released in 2020 entitled Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, while an enhanced version of the game containing all downloadable content up to that point, titled Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate, was released that same year.
The Switch version is co-developed by Shiver Entertainment. This is the first Mortal Kombat game to come to a Nintendo system since Mortal Kombat: Armageddon in 2007.
Gameplay[]
The game is a 2.5D fighting game with the traditional special finishing moves, Fatalities returning, but also with numerous new mechanics introduced.
