Morph Bombs (Sometimes called Morph Ball Bombs) are small explosives from the Metroid series Samus can use to blow up cracked platforms while in her Morph Ball. She has an unlimited supply so these can be used freely for more advanced techniques like the Bomb Jump. The morph ball bomb can also be upgraded to the Power Bomb.

First introduced in Metroid, these bombs have become a series staple upgrade. They allow Samus to attack while in the Morph Ball as well as destroy certain walls. The Bomb Jump is using the explosion to propell the player further in the air to progress. Occassionally, a combination of these bomb jumps can be used to Sequence Break.
