The Monster Rancher series is a pet simulation game series created by Tecmo. Its games span across several platforms. While most of its earlier games were only on Sony systems, many of its later games have been on Nintendo systems. Most of its games allow the player to raise and train monsters to fight in tournaments against other monsters.
