The Mirror of Twilight is an item in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It serves as a connection between the World of Light and the Twilight Realm.
After the boss Stallord is killed, Link and Midna head to the Mirror Chamber and find that the mirror has been broken into four pieces by Zant (he wasn't able to completely destroy the mirror due to being the fake ruler of the Twilight Realm). Link and Midna are told by the Ancient Sages that the three other mirror pieces are located in the mountains, in an ancient grove, and in the sky.
Link and Midna recover the shards and return to the Mirror Chamber to reassemble the mirror.
At the end of the story, Midna shatters the mirror with a tear due to her being the true ruler of the Twilight Realm.
