Minna no Soft Series: Tetris Advance was part of a Soft Series collection and is a Tetris game made and released by Success Corporation only for the Game Boy Advance in Japan. It was released on December 28, 2003 and has some interesting features unlike anything other in Tetris.

  • Advance Mode (Once you completed Challenge Mode, the Advance Mode become available featuring the intense fixed 20G gravity setting).

Extra Details[]

  • Hold Feature: You have the option to ‘hold’ a tetromino for future use, making the gameplay more strategic.
  • Hard Drop: A tetromino can be placed instantly in the desired position.
  • Customizations: Disabling of ghost pieces (preview of where the piece will land), wall kicks (rotating pieces near walls), and even animations are offered for a more convenient experience.

Rotation System[]

  • It employs a modified Super Rotation System (SRS), although there are some ‘I’ tetromino rotations that may be difficult for players to master.

Visuals & Music[]

  • The graphics are brighter and are like last games such as Tetris DS.
  • The music becomes more heroic and complex with each stage, featuring a theme that most Nintendo fans will know.
