Minior(JP) is a species of Pokémon of the series of the same name. It is a Rock and Flying Pokémon introduced in the seventh generation in Pokémon Sun and Moon. While it does not evolve, it reveals its core form when its health drops below 50%
Physiology and Behavior
Minior is a floating rock with several small triangles around it. Cones extrude from several points. Once the rock exterior breaks, it reveals a colorful center. The center can be the colors; red, blue, yellow, green, indigo violet and orange. It has a tiny white mouth and giant swirling eyes shaped like galaxies.
MInior are formed in the stratosphere and live by absorbing debris around them. After consuming enough, their bodies become heavy, leading them to crash towards the surface. Once its shell breaks, it becomes, able to deal quick attacks.
|Pokémon Sun||Meteor - Originally making its home in the ozone layer, it hurtles to the ground when the shell enclosing its body grows too heavy. |
Core - It eats dust in the atmosphere. The composition of the dust determines the color of its core.
|Pokémon Moon||Meteor - Strong impacts can knock it out of its shell. This Pokémon was born from mutated nanoparticles. |
Core - If its core stays exposed, it will soon die off. It's possible that it may survive if it's put into a Poké Ball quickly enough.
