Miles Edgeworth is a secondary character and the first rival prosecutor introduced in the mainline Ace Attorney game series. A recurring character throughout the series, Edgeworth evolves from an initial antagonist into the best friend and trusted ally of the protagonist, Phoenix Wright. Edgeworth also stars in his own spin-off series, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, which takes place directly after Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations. In Investigations, Edgeworth uses logical reasoning to solve crimes away from the standard courtroom setting and learn more about what it means to be a prosecutor.
