Mike Pollock (born March 9, 1965), sometimes credited as Herb Lawrence, is an American voice actor who has done voice work for the English dub of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He has worked on many voice overs of English-dubbed anime by 4Kids Entertainment. He is most notable for being the voice of Doctor Eggman in several media since Sonic X. Outside the Sonic series, his Nintendo roles are largely from the Pokémon series.
Pollock is the only English-language voice actor who was not replaced in 2010. It was revealed by Pollock in a chat session on November 16 that Sega had held auditions for Eggman, but they decided to keep him because none of the other voice actors who auditioned fit Eggman well. Pollock is the longest active English voice actor of the Sonic series.
