Miitopia is a role-playing game from Nintendo on the Nintendo 3DS. The player composes a team of Miis and sends them on a quest to recover the world's faces. The player doesn't actually control the party but, instead drives their relationships and abilities indirectly.
Gameplay
The game starts with the player choosing their Miis though the game can do this automatically. The party then heads out to fight monsters, journeying across the land until reaching an inn at the end of the day. The combat is almost completely done by itself. The Miis do attacks based on their job and other Miis can help them or get in the way based on their relationships. The lower screen displays these relationships.
Players can do 3 things during combat, use a healing powder, take a Mii to the back row to recover from status and choose where the bonus XP goes. After the day is finished, the player can choose which rooms the characters will be in with two Miis per room. A room with two Miis is more likely to improve their relationship but, bad engagements can still happen. Miis will then ask to buy something varying between food and equipment, but there is a chance they will mispend their money. In the morning, the player chooses their meal which gives specific stat boosts for the day.
