Metroid II: Return of Samus (JP) (also known as Metroid II) is a video game for the Game Boy handheld. It is the second game in the Metroid series. The game's protagonist, Samus Aran, must once again traverse through large caves and defeat plenty of enemy aliens.

This game is a lot more linear than the first game. The game is available in Virtual Console.  If the player was a gold member of the Club Nintendo in 2012, he could exchange coins for it.

A Nintendo 3DS remake known as Metroid: Samus Returns was released on September 15, 2017.

Story
