Meowth (ニャース, Nyarth) is one of the Template:PKMNcount species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a Normal Pokémon that made its first appearance in the first generation games Red and Blue.
Physiology and Behaviour
Appearances
Main Pokémon games
Meowth was first seen in Pokémon Red and Blue and has been in almost every other Pokémon game since. It is a scratch cat Pokemon that is known for its high speed stat and the fact that is one of only two Pokémon to learn Pay Day (The other is Persian). It evolves into Persian at Level 28. It is known to be somewhat similar to other cat Pokémon such as Skitty and Glameow.

It is seen in the Super Smash Bros. series as a Poké Ball Pokémon that throws coins at the players.
