Melony is a gym leader in Pokémon Shield, but not Pokémon Sword. In Pokémon Sword, her son Gordie takes her place. Melony specializes in ice-type Pokémon. She's fought at the Circhester Stadium and she gives out the Ice Badge to trainers who beat her.
