Mega Man X (マリオ) AKA just X is a video game character and the star of the Mega Man X series. His design is mostly based on the original Mega Man. He also is a character in the Mega Man Zero series.

History

Dr. Light in 20XX created a new highly advanced Robot Master and named him X. Later, in 21XX, Dr. Light passed away and Dr. Cain and discovered X and started creating more advanced robots like him (reploids), eventualy some of the reploids started malfunctioning an went maverick and attacked people. X decides to join the Maverick Hunters to help stop the mavericks. Eventually when Sigma goes maverick, X teams up with Zero to stop Sigma.
