Lyle is a business man, who is a weasel both metaphorically and literally, will appear every Saturday and ask for 3,000 Bells for health insurance in Animal Crossing: Wild World. In Animal Crossing: City Folk he can be found in the city.

Appearances

Animal Crossing series

In Animal Crossing: Wild World, the 3,000 Bells will go to insurance for bee stings and when the player slips. Once the player talks to him, he will not let them go until you buy the insurance. The only way out of it is if you decide not to fill out the questionare or if you don't have enough bells. One of the questions he asks is when Crazy Redd should come. What ever day the player choses will be when Redd comes, which would make it appear that he works for Redd. Next time you meet him, he will ask you the same questions, then try to sell you damage insurance for 6,000 bells. Once you buy this, he will pay you if you got a forged or broken item. Animals in your town will tell of a scam in town, which is a reference to Lyle.

In Animal Crossing: City Folk, he works at the front desk at the Happy Room Academy, but will often talk about his old job saying he liked it better, which is a reference to his role in Wild World. An interesting fact about Lyle is he refers to himself in 3rd person, and he always exclaims: "Bang!" He is also sometimes in The Roost.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, he works inside Nook's Homes where he runs the Happy Home Academy.  He acts similarly to how he did City Folk.

Super Smash Bros. series

Lyle can occasionally be seen in the background of the Smashville stage, as well apearing as a sticker.
