Luneth is a character in Final Fantasy III for the Nintendo DS (the original game on the NES featured different characters). His is the first character that will join the party, and will stay with you until the end of the game. He is an orphan who nearly escaped death many years ago while on board Cid's Airship.
He was raised by the local priest in the city of Ur, along with his friend Arc, who becomes a playable character soon after the game begins.
