Little Nightmares: Complete Edition is a horror platforming game published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
It is a 2018 port of the 2017 game originally released on PC/XboxOne/PS4.
It includes some DLC content which usually cost extra on the original game.
Whilst available as both physical and digital packages in European, Japanese and Australian regions, this game has to be downloaded digitally via eShop in North America in order to be played.
Content[]
The Steam port of the game also includes an option to get the "Complete Edition" which names the seven extras that it includes:
- Scarecrow Sack
- Upside-down Teapot
- The Depths DLC
- The Hideaway DLC
- The Residence DLC
- Original Soundtrack
- Secrets of The Maw Expansion Pass
Only three of these are mentioned in the Fanatical Review:
- "The Secrets of the Maw Expansion Pass adds three additional thrilling DLC chapters - including The Depths, The Hideaway and The Runaway Kid."
This makes it unclear whether it includes Residence/Sack/Teapot.
SteamDB appears to indicate it does include those extras though.
Gameplay[]
The player is a small character in a house that has to manipulate the environment to get around and delve deeper into the floors below. The character has a lighter to see in the dark. They have to sneak avoid the monstrous human-like creatures and hide underneath tables or on top of shelves.
amiibo support[]
The game is compatible with the Pac-Man amiibo to give the Pakku Mask that makes the player look like Pac-Man.
