Little Nemo: The Dream Master(JP) is a game for the Nintendo Entertainment System that was developed by Capcom and released in 1990. It is a side-scrolling adventure game loosely based on the Little Nemo in Slumberland newspaper comic strips by Winsor McCay from the early 20th Century.[1]
Plot[]
Camille, the Princess of Slumberland, is bored, so she has chosen Nemo to be her playmate. A messenger is sent out to retrieve him. Nemo then braves the different dream lands, encountering strange creatures and a few new friends. When he finally reaches the Princess, he is given the task of rescuing her father who has been taken captive by the Nightmare King.
Gameplay[]
The player controls a boy named Nemo who traverses different dream lands. Nemo is able to run, duck and jump. He is also equipped with lots of candy. Feeding the candy to some of the animals of Slumberland will allow Nemo to control them and help him on his quest.
The end of each land has a locked door. Nemo must find the keys to open the numerous locks on each door to advance to the next land. In the final land, Nemo is given a magic wand which he must use to defeat the Nightmare King.
