This is the list of games originally released on the Wii U system ported to the Nintendo Switch system. This is thought to be a notable move, being that the Switch is the direct successor to the Wii U.
Note: This list does not include games that have been ported from a prior third-party platform too Wii U, such as Minecraft or Bayonetta nor Wii U game ports that were ported only to the Nintendo 3DS such as Super Mario Maker and Yoshi's Woolly World.

Trivia[]
- Much of the Wii U games ported and modified for the Switch are mainline Nintendo-developed titles. That said, it has the most amount of games from a Nintendo system to have been ported to the Switch.
- Many games from the Wii U have an additional subtitle such as Deluxe. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and Bayonetta 2 are the only games that maintained their original names and boxart designs.
- The same applies for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, except it has a Bowser's Fury banner artwork on the bottom.
- Similarly, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild uses these same specifications as well, most likely since it was simultaneously released on both the Wii U and Switch on the same day.
- Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, Lego City: Undercover and The Wonderful 101 have been originally published by Nintendo for their Wii U releases. For the Switch, they have been published by different companies (Koei Tecmo, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and PlatinumGames, respectively), and for third-party platforms and have taken out Nintendo-related bonus except for Undercover.
