  • Animated: The Mario Bros. help a steamboat captain named Mark Twang in his boat race against Koopa.
  • Live-action: The Mario Bros. meet Dr. Frankenstein and his monster.
Mario Bros vs Tryclyde 7 "The Great Gladiator Gig" "Bonkers from Yonkers" September 12, 1989
  • Animated: The heroes are invited to a benefit spaghetti dinner at the Linguini Empire, unaware that Koopa has taken over the place.
  • Live-action: Luigi calls on Dr. Sigmund Fruitcake for help after a bump on the head results in Mario thinking he's various animals.

  • Animated: Mario and friends crash-land on the planet Quirk, the inhabitants of which have been enslaved by Moonman Koopa.
  • Live-action: The titular guest star thinks the Mario Bros.' pet Ratigator is a sewer monster and is trying to capture him.

  • Animated: The heroes are looking for a medicine woman in Jungle Land, but Bowser blasts them with itching powder.
  • Live-action: As a birthday present, Mario gets Luigi free dance lessons from Shaba-Doo.

  • Animated: The Mario Bros. meet long-lost fellow Brooklyn plumber Salvador Drainado, who has found a drainpipe that can bring them back to Brooklyn.

  • Animated: Toad brings the group to meet his friend, the currently-not-so-mighty Hercufleas, who guards the Great Balls of Fire.

  • Animated: King Koopa is suddenly a vampire now and traps the heroes in his haunted castle.

  • Animated: King Koopa becomes a pirate again, captures the Princess, and destroys Captain Clump's ship.

  • Animated: A Gibdo turns Link into a frog, and he can only be changed back if a princess kisses him.

  • Live-action: When Brian Bonsall shows up at Mario Bros. Plumbing and tells them he's running away from home, Mario tells him about the time he tried to run away.

  • Animated: The Mario Bros. take to the skies to stop Koopa and Lakitu from taking over Pasta Land.
  • Live-action: A guy in a gorilla costume--er, a gorilla escapes from the circus and invades Mario Bros. Plumbing.

  • Animated: Koopa and his minions get hats that make them invincible.
  • Live-action: The Mario Bros. turn their apartment into a bed-and-breakfast, claiming that George Washington was a guest there.

  • Animated: The characters are all forced to say their dialogue entirely in rap as the heroes save King James of Rap Land.
  • Live-action: The Mario Bros. find they've been drafted into the military, so Sgt. Slaughter returns to train them.
