Lara is Lucca's mother and Taban's wife in the role-playing game Chrono Trigger. She lives in Truce in 1000 A.D. Years ago, she lost her legs in an accident involving a crazy invention. But, through time travel, Lucca has the ability to change that and save her mother's legs.
Biography[]
The Millennial Fair[]
Crono talks to Lara at her house and she tells him that Lucca is unveiling a new invention at the Millennial Fair.
The Village of Magic[]
After their journey through Heckran Cave, Crono and his party pay a visit to Taban and Lara in Truce.
The Green Dream[]
After finding Robo in Fiona's Shrine in 1000 A.D., Lucca discovers a Time Gate that leads to her house 10 years earlier. She then finds that she has another chance to save her mother Lara's legs. She then uses that same Gate to travel back to the party.
- Note: It's up to the player to save Lucca's mother. Whether they are successful or not is one of the many events that helps determine the ending in the game after Lavos is defeated.
