Langrisser is a tactical role-playing game originally released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1991 and later released in North America under the title Warsong around the same year. The game was also ported to the PC-Engine CD in 1993. Eventually in Japan the Wii Virtual Console released the Mega Drive version while the Wii U Virtual Console released the PC-Engine CD version of the game.
