Supermario Kungsbacka

The Mario statue in Sweden in June 2006.

Kungsbacka is a town in Sweden. It is the seat for Swedish company Bergsala, which has disturbed Nintendo products in Sweden and nearby countries since 1981.[1]

Next to the European Road 6 motorway near Kungsbacka is a Mario statue, reminding of the Nintendo activities in town. In June 1999, a street in Kungsbacka was named Marios gata ("Mario's Street") after Mario.[2]
