Kung Fu is a remake of Irem's arcade game Kung-Fu Master. It was developed by Nintendo and released in 1985. The arcade title was credited as being the first beat-em up video game, a genre that while in recent years has died down in popularity featured some of the noteworthy titles during the 80's and 90's with games such as Double Dragon, Final Fight, and Bad Dudes. This version was made by the same team who made Super Mario Bros.[1]
