Koopa Cape is a course in Mario Kart Wii. It is the second course in the Star Cup and also the tenth track in the entire game. It takes place on an island with plenty of waterfalls and an underwater tunnel.

History

Mario Kart Wii

After beginning the race, the player will turn slightly to the right and hit a speed boost under a waterfall. Later, he/she will travel through a tunnel and turn right into a wooden ramp. After taking a sharp U-turn, plow into a river's current. After coming through the beautiful trees and water, turn right and then left into a waterfall and into an underwater tunnel. Next, after plenty of swerves, head out of the tunnel with a boost and drive around a final curve into the finish.

Mario Kart 7

The course is used again as a retro course in the Lighting Cup. Few changes are made other than a glide panel being added before the river part of the course, the Goombas being changed to Grand Goomabas and the tunnel is now underwater.

Ghost data:

2.49.046 for RetQuinn selecting Koopa Troopa.

2.28.585 for RetShane selecting Koopa Troopa.

Trivia

  • The Koopa that appears in the start of the race that shows the way to the tunnel may sometimes actually be one of the player's Miis.
  • In Mario Kart 7 if the player is hit with a spiny shell right after the exit of the tunnel then the player will fall all the way down drop in the water, without doing the "splash" animation, and stop at the bottom of the sea
