"Kirby Comes to Cappy Town" ("It's Here! The Pink Visitor" in the original Japanese version) is the first episode of Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. It was first broadcast in Japan on October 6, 2001, and in the United States on September 14, 2002.
Summary[]
On the planet Popstar, the villagers living in Cappy Town find themselves under attack by a giant octopus monster that's eating their sheep and seems to live at Castle Dedede. When the villagers go to the castle to investigate, their self-proclaimed ruler, King Dedede, and his major domo Escargoon deny the presence of such a monster. The villagers ask the great oracle Kabu for advice. He tells them that Dedede is indeed harboring a monster sent by the Emperor of Darkness, Nightmare, but he also says that Popstar will fortunately soon be graced with the presence of a Star Warrior named Kirby. Dedede, who has been listening in on this, scoffs at Kabu's prediction, but less than a minute later, a star-shaped ship crash-lands. When the people of Cappy Town take a look at the ship, they find that Kirby is only a baby. But as Tiff and Tuff soon find out, there is more to this little Star Warrior than meets the eye.
