Killer Instinct card game was a collectible card game produced by Topps and based on the video game Killer Instinct. It was published in 1996 and marks Nintendo's first attempt at a collectible card game.
Players were to use a 60-card deck to play. There were 4 steps in the game: Draw Phase, Promotion Phase, Combat Phase, and End Phase. Combos could also be used during gameplay. There were Starter Decks, and Booster Packs sold for the game. The complete set, consists of 368 cards with 6 of those being promo cards.[1]
