Kargarocs, sometime refered to as Kargaroks are giant bird-like enemies in The Legend of Zelda series. They are mainly used by Ganondorf to rapidelly transport other monsters on the battlefield.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker[]

In The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Kargarocs are used by Ganondorf to transport Moblins and Bokoblins across the Great Sea. They are very similar to the Helmaroc King in this game, which may indicate that he actually is an enormous Kargaroc. They can easily be defeated by using an Arrow or shooting a Bomb from the Cannon. Link can collect Golden Feathers from defeated Kargarocs, 20 of which can be given to Hoskit in exchange for 100 Rupees and a Piece of Heart.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess[]

In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Kargarok have two variant, the first one is the regular Kargarok that can be found in Hyrule Field. They can easily be defeated by using arrows or Bomb Arrows. Twilit Kargaroks are Kargaroks that were exposed to the Twilight Realm enough to be transformed. Beyond that, they are similar to regular in every way. They are actually the ones carrying enemies in this game and a Shadow Bulblin riding a Twilit Kagarok is faced as a mini-boss at Lake Hylia.

In Nintendo Land, Kargaroks are a common enemy that attack the group of Link from the air. They are easily dealt with by the player controling the Link using a bow but they can get very annoying when faced alongside groups of other enemies.
