The Kakariko Village Graveyard is a location in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. As its name implies, it is located in Kakariko Village.
Appearances[]
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time[]
The graveyard is found behind the village. Ghosts of Hylians, Royal Family members, and Sheikah, known as Poes, appear in the graveyard if Link pulls the graves aside. Two of the graves have flowers in front of them; these lead to small rooms containing a Hylian Shield and a Piece of Heart. At night, Dampé the Grave Keeper plays his Heart-Pounding Grave-Digging Tour in which Link can pay him to dig up Rupees or even a Piece of Heart.
At the rear of the graveyard is the Royal Family's Tomb, where Link can learn the Sun's Song that the Royal Family Composer Brothers, Flat and Sharp, whose graves flank the Royal Family's Tombstone, created, and just above the tomb is a fenced-off ledge that leads down to the Shadow Temple. Link can only get up to that ledge by playing the "Nocturne of Shadow", then he has to light the numerous torches to open the entrance to the temple. In the future, Dampé passes away; a note in his diary beckons Link to come to his grave, where he can race Dampé’s ghost for the Hookshot.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess[]
The graveyard in Twilight Princess is a little more desolate. In the back of the area is an ornate rock with the Zora symbol on it, which leads to a water-filled chamber containing King Zora's grave, where Link can acquire the Zora Armor after getting Prince Ralis to Kakariko Village. Link can also learn the sixth hidden skill, the Jump Strike, in front of the crawlspace leading to King Zora’s tomb.
