Julien Bardakoff is a former Nintendo France employee who was involved with translation and localization. He's notably known for giving their French names to every Pokémon from the first two generations. He was also the voice of Luigi in the Japanese version of Mario Kart 64 and again for Mario Party. His voice clips were reused for Mario Party 2, Excitebike: Bun Bun Mario Battle Stadium and Mario Kart: Super Circuit. He is currently affiliated with Ubisoft.
