Iono is an electric-type gym leader of Levincia in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. She is an internet streamer who tends to prioritize her engagement over her duties as gym leader. She is known as "The Supercharged Streamer". After defeat, she gives out the Electric Badge and TM048, Volt Switch.
Iono has a very vibrant design, akin to Vtubers. She has two-toned hair in the form of large pigtails with one being majorly pink and the other being majorly teal. She has pink eyes and sharp teeth. She wears an oversized black and yellow coat with the channel logo on the front with a silver shirt and black shorts underneath. She has two Magnemite hair accessories that can express some emotion and animate in time with her expressions.
She was first introduced in a promotion video teasing a new Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet in the format of her livestream show called Iono Zone. The first video has the audience ask Iono about her partner Pokémon. The second video has her take a few guesses before revealing it to be Bellibolt and recounting her hints.
