Incenses are a special set of breeding item in the Pokémon series that enable certain Pokémon to breed for their pre-evolutions. There were introduced in the third generation with just Lax and Sea incenses and the fourth generation added seven. Starting with the fifth generation, all the Incenses are obtainable at an Incense Shop in their respective game.

The Lax Incense is an incense that lets Wobbuffet produce a Wynaut egg. It also lowers the opponent's accuracy by 10%.

The Sea Incense is an incense that lets Marill and Azumarill produce an Azurill egg. It also boosts the power of Water moves by 20% when held.

The Full Incense is an incense that lets Snorlax produce a Munchlax egg. It also lowers the user's priority in battle.

Luck Incense[]
The Luck Incense is an incense that lets Chansey or Blissey produce a Happiny egg. It also doubles money received from battles like an Amulet Coin. It doesn't stack with more Amulet Coin or Luck Incense but, it does stack with Happy Hour or the Prize Money O-Power.

The Odd Incense is an incense that lets Mr. Mime produce a Mime Jr. egg. It also boosts the power of Psychic moves by 20% when held.
