Hoenn is a region in the Pokémon series and has is the main region in third generation of games and their remakes. It is modeled after the real world Japanese island of Kyushu.

There are many areas exclusive to Pokémon Emerald. They are Trainer Hill, the Battle Frontier, Artisan Cave, Desert Underpass, Mirage Tower, Marine Cave and Terra Cave.
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire[]
There are 5 areas exclusive to ORAS. They are Sea Mauville, Secret Islet, Secret Meadow, Secret Shore and the Battle Resort.
Noteworthy Pokémon[]
There are various Pokémon species found in Hoenn that are very rare and unique. They include the following, along with why they are so noteworthy:
- Treecko - One of the three starter Pokémon (grass).
- Torchic - One of the three starter Pokémon (fire).
- Mudkip - One of the three starter Pokémon (water).
- Kyogre - One of the three mascots of the third generation (Sapphire and Alpha Sapphire).
- Groudon - One of the three mascots of the third generation (Ruby and Omega Ruby).
- Rayquaza - One of the three mascots of the third generation (Emerald).
