− | Hitmontop first appeared in Pokémon Gold and Silver and Pokémon Crystal shortly after. In the games, Hitmontop could only be obtained by evolving Tyrogue. Following their appearance in this game, Tyrogue would appear in every subsequent main Pokémon title, including the remake of Gold and Silver, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. There has yet to be a title where Hitmontop could be captured in the wild (excluding the Poké Park in the fourth generation titles). |
