The Hateno Ancient Tech Lab is a location in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it is a Sheikah laboratory on top of a hill behind Hateno village in the East Necluda region of Hyrule. The laboratory conduct research on the Runes of the Sheikah Slate. The laboratory is under the direction of Dr. Purah which is the head of the Sheikah scientists and one of the last survivor of the Great Calamity that left Hyrule in a state of ruin 100 years before the events of the game. The laboratory itself only became one when Dr. Purah took over the batiment during the Age of Burning Fields, later Symin became her assistant.
