This is a power up form in Super Mario Bros. 3. Once Mario or Luigi obtains the power up they will waer the shell and armor of a Hammer Bro. When transformed Mario can throw hammers similar to the Hammer Bros. The hammers are powerful enough to defeat enemies like Boos, Thwomps, and most other enemies. They can hide in the shell which is fireproof. But hiding in the shell will disable your ability to slide down slopes. However the Hammer Bros. Suit can only be found in World 6 and 7.
