Grinders are enemies found in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the SNES. They resemble monkeys and, in this game and its sequel Yoshi's Island DS, they'll spit watermelon seeds at Yoshi and Baby Mario. They're relatively harmless and will always just run away from the duo. Grinders also appeared in Tetris Attack for the SNES as an ally to Poochy.
