Goron City is a location in The Legend of Zelda series, first appearing in the Nintendo 64 classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It is the home of the Gorons of Hyrule, and likewise Link will be able to find most of the Gorons stationed here. The city is located between the base and the top of Death Mountain, basically the middle of the mountain. Apparently the Gorons carved the inside of this giant cave long ago, a grueling and nearly impossible task that no Hylian could ever perform.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time[]

Secret entrances to Death Mountain Crater, Midigoron's Blade Store, and the Lost Woods can be found here. Apparently, the Gorons love the music coming out of the entrance to the Lost Woods (Saria's Song). The leader of the Gorons, Darunia, needs to be played Saria's Song as well. He dances for quite a while when played this song, and tells Link how much he loves it when it's done. It seems that all Gorons love this song, which could be because of its magical powers.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild[]

In Breath of the Wild, Link needs certain protection to visit Goron City, because the temperatures are extremely high because of all the lava in the area.
