The Golden Mushroom in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
The Golden Mushroom is an item in the Mario Kart series, and appeared in almost every Mario Kart game. It relates to a regular Mushroom, except that it can be used multiple times in a set time limit. In Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, only Toad, Toadette, King Boo, and Petey Piranha can get it. It has been claimed that this is one of the best items in the whole series, and it can be used to make dozens of shortcuts. When you use it once, then the time limit goes down for the time, you still have it.
